Overview
The Universe Series is Colorlight's modular splicer for very large walls with many sources. The U15 Max reaches 520 million pixels over 10G fibre, 240 input and 160 output channels and 320 layers, followed by the U9 Max (260 million, 160 layers), U6 Max (130 million) and U3 Max (78 million, 48 layers). All support HDR, 10-bit, 3D and low latency, with an optional dual 4K multiviewer and power redundancy. Input boards cover HDMI 2.1 at 8K, DP 1.4, 12G-SDI, DVI, HDBaseT and IP; output boards cover Ethernet, fibre and HDMI. They suit command and control centres and large halls; we design the source and layer layout around how the room operates.
