Overview
The VX Pro Series combines video processor and sender in one box and is among NovaStar's most widely used controllers. It starts with the VX400 Pro at 2.6 million pixels, then the VX600 Pro (3.9 million) and VX1000 Pro (6.5 million), up to the VX2000 Pro at 13 million pixels, 16,384 pixels wide and 12 layers. The first three take HDMI 2.0 with loop-through, two HDMI 1.3, 3G-SDI and a 10G fibre port, with 4 to 10 Ethernet outputs; the VX2000 Pro adds 12G-SDI and DP 1.2 inputs and 20 Ethernet ports. All store 256 presets. We size the model by pixels and sources, then programme and calibrate the screen.
