Pixel pitch & viewing distance
A rule of thumb: the closest comfortable viewing distance in metres is roughly the pixel pitch in millimetres.

Brightness
Indoor screens need far less brightness than outdoor ones, which must stay readable in direct sun.

Protection (IP rating)
Outdoor cabinets are sealed against dust and water; check the IP rating of both the front and the rear.
